Riley week 4 figure 8 and down

  1. I think it would have been better to use a chauk line instead of the hoops. Just not straight turns.

  3. I can see how much thought and effort you are putting into passing this EXAM. Yes, the chalk lines would have helped you. Pointers:
    1) Watch your footwork. Can you tell me at what second count in thr first video your footwork was bass akwards?🫣
    2) You want to put Riley on a Sit/Stay whenever you are messing with the camera. It grieves me to see you miss those golden training moments on every video AND it explains why she rarely works FOR you and WITH you. *Remember* whenever the leash or LL is on a dog, the dog are 'working' and that training equipment should always be handled appropriately. When a dog is on a leash or LL it is working, so too are you. You simply can't be casual or nonchalant with that equipment on a dog and then expect the dog to, when recorded, switch into 'working' mode. Every time a leash or LL is on a dog, you need to be using the equipment correctly. Otherwise, you ARE training that dog to ignore that equipment cue. Please, please change what you are doing to handle the training equipment, when on Riley, correctly.

Other than those pointers, good work and Pass on these Week 4 exercises, Heeling, Down, & Figure 8.
