A place to learn a new language, the Koehler Method of Dog Training, which is an entire language of communication between owner(s) and their dog. Let the journey begin...
Oh my gosh, between the goat and two different cats, food, and people, it was s rough one. I took 9 videos, but we must have done this 20 times. This is the best i could do before she gave out on me.
Well this is an awesomeTunnel of Love. What I am looking for in a Tunnel of Love is the following:
1) DOES the owner know how to help their dog succeed in heeling and AS against HIGH distractions. That would be the 3-step Halt to KISS Sit Correction.
2) Does the dog know what it is to do?
Clearly, Riley knew the food was planted and choose to turnaway from that food, as she has been trained to do over and over and over again. The baby goat? That's another distraction Riley needs to be trained against as she could not ignore it.
Buck, the 3 step Halt, KISS and Sit Correction are critical pieces of Riley's training and her understanding. You need to practice these until YOUR mechanics are automatic as you are unknowingly setting Riley up to fail by NOT learning the mechanics she has been thoroughly trained to understand and obey.
We'll go over this for you, with Fido, today sometime so you can learn.

Great setup though!
